What a fantastic way to start the week! Alison Atia – Skin O2 Managing Director and proud CCIQ business member, was invited to CCIQ headquarters in Brisbane along with fellow QLD exporters
The intimate roundtable discussion was hosted by QLD Chamber of Commerce & Industry CEO Stephen Tait, alongside the Shadow Minister for Trade and Investment, the Hon. Jason Clare MP. The event was moderated by Kate Whittle, General Manager of Advocacy.
The morning roundtable event with the Hon Shadow Minister was an exceptional chance for local business leaders to engage in an open-table, relaxed breakfast-style boardroom setting, to present real business opportunities and challenges of exporting.
“If you are a small to medium sized business and is interested to learn more about the opportunities of exporting, or needing better local business support – it is highly recommended to contact CCIQ. Becoming a member of CCIQ helped to support & empower our local & international business to achieve success. It is a fact that SMEs provide a significant portion of the total workforce market (>44% of all private sector workers; and over 97% of all the businesses in the state of Queensland)#1 in QLD thus supporting a sizeable portion of the Australian Economy. Having the backing of CEO Stephen Tait and his expert team at CCIQ gives Australian small to medium scale businesses a strong voice. I was delighted at the opportunity to meet with Hon. Jason Clare MP in such positive and constructive business community engagement” Alison explains.
Diana Gueorguieva – Manager of International Trade at CCIQ – attended the event and was very pleased with the magnanimously positive outcome and feedback.
